Iloilo reports no haze-related illnesses
ILOILO CITY — No residents have been reported as affected by haze being monitored across Iloilo province, despite its continued visibility in several municipalities, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said Friday.
In its 10:30 a.m. monitoring report, the PDRRMO said none of the province’s five congressional districts reported affected individuals.

The monitoring covered 42 municipalities and Passi City. Most areas reported minimal haze, while Concepcion in the fifth district had visible haze.

Cabatuan, Pototan, and Dueñas were classified as having no visible haze, while Lemery reported no haze in low-lying areas but minimal haze in upland communities.
The PDRRMO said it continues to monitor the situation with local disaster offices and advised residents to wear masks outdoors, stay hydrated, and keep doors and windows closed when haze is noticeable.
