Soori’s ‘Mandaadi’ crosses Rs 125 crore worldwide on Day 19

Tamil actor Soori is basking in the success of his latest sports action drama, ‘Mandaadi,’ as the film is minting good numbers at the box office. Released on September 10, the film has now crossed the Rs 125 crore mark worldwide.

'Mandaadi' box office numbers

According to Sacnilk, the film made Rs 1.22 crore, which came from 1,232 shows across India. With this addition, the movie has reached an India net collection of Rs 92.87 crore. The film's India gross currently stands at Rs 108.36 crore. Its overseas markets have contributed Rs 17.35 crore in gross earnings. This takes the worldwide gross collection of 'Mandaadi' to Rs 125.71 crore.On Tuesday, the collections showed a 15.9% drop from Monday’s numbers, which were Rs 1.45 crore.

'Mandaadi' occupancy

Talking about ‘Mandaadi’ occupancy on day 19, the film recorded an overall occupancy of 29.35%. The morning shows began at 21.25%, which later increased to 29.83% in the afternoon. The number slightly increased to 30.08% in the evening and completed its run at 35.08% in the night.The film had a huge first-week collection as it made over Rs 57.30 crore, with week 2 collection standing at Rs 26 crore. The film began its third week, minting Rs 1.40 crore on Friday, Rs 2.30 crore on Saturday, and Rs 3.20 crore on Sunday.

Meanwhile, on Monday, it added Rs 1.45 crore.

Speaking of the film, directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, it stars Soori and Suhas as Chatta Puli, marking his Tamil film debut, Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Shankar and Ravindra Vijay in key roles. The film’s music is composed by G. V.
