Quavo Previews Collabs With Justin Timberlake & Offset Ahead of New Album ‘QRÖMELIFE’

Ahead of Quavo’s QRÖMELIFE album arriving on Friday (Oct. 2), the Migos rapper hosted a listening party for the project in Los Angeles, which featured a reunion with Offset and a genre-blending collaboration with Justin Timberlake.

It felt like 2016 again as Quavo and Offset were spotted hanging at the party while their trap banger “Away” boomed throughout the L.A. venue’s speakers. “Away” is the first Quavo and Offset collaboration in five years.

Quavo has teamed up with pop stars in the past, and he adds another impressive feat to his résumé, with Justin Timberlake joining him on the experimental “House Music.”

QRÖMELIFE is entirely produced by Pharrell, and the rest of the album features assists from T.I., Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby, Yung Miami and Future.

Quavo also teased a short film to accompany the album, which revealed that the Atlanta native recently became a father for the first time to a baby girl. Huncho spoke to Complex about how fatherhood has already brought positive change to his life. “Added more fuel to the fire. It’s a blessing that God gave me,” he said. “It brings joy to me, it brings a whole new reason why I’m doing this, it brings a new hunger and fire to me. I’m proud to be a father now.”

He continued: “I’m real sensitive when it comes to that; that’s my soft part. Just seeing her light, seeing her smile, seeing her call me dad and looking just like me, that’s the scary and beautiful part of that.”

QRÖMELIFE is Quavo’s first solo project since 2023’s Rocket Power, which debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200. Quavo also teased that his next endeavor will be a final Migos project with Offset, which will feature posthumous vocals from Takeoff, who passed away in November 2022 in a fatal shooting.
