All the Guests at Shakira’s Madrid Residency (Updating)

Since Shakira kicked off her residency in Madrid, each new date has brought the anticipation of discovering who might join her on stage. The 12-concert series began on Sept. 18 and runs through Oct. 11 as part of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

For the first two nights, there were no guest appearances, but they weren’t needed to maintain the energy during the two-hour show. Songs like “Girl Like Me,” “Te Felicito,” “TQG,” “Soltera” and “Hips Don’t Lie” kept the stadium singing at full volume — along with “Te Dejo Madrid,” a new addition to the setlist compared to previous stops on the tour. As the residency progressed, the first guest appearances began to roll in — some completely unexpected, others hinted at by Shakira herself through clues on her social media.

The Colombian superstar has been drawing around 55,000 people per night to Estadio Shakira, a temporary venue built specifically for these 12 shows at Iberdrola Music. Back in January, Billboard announced that Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour had set a Guinness World Record as the highest-grossing tour of all time by a Hispanic artist, with $421.6 million earned and 3.3 million tickets sold across 86 shows, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

Midway through the residency, Shakira shared her thoughts on Instagram about the experience so far: “We’re halfway through our residency! 6 concerts in total, and each one has had an incredible energy. It’s impossible to say which of the 6 has been the best; they’ve all been absolutely spectacular. Thank you, Madrid, for being with me!” the global superstar wrote.

• Sept. 25 & 26: Alejandro Sanz

  One of the most anticipated reunions happened with Alejandro Sanz, who joined Shakira for two consecutive nights. On Sept. 25, they performed “La Tortura” together once again, the hit collaboration they released more than two decades ago, in 2005.

  Sanz returned to the stage the following night, and this time they added his hit “Corazón Partío,” which they performed together for the first time. “Alejandro, I love you!” Shakira shouted as she bid him farewell after the first night, while Sanz later summarized the reunion on his social media: “Two nights with you, and my ‘corazón partío’ (broken heart) feels fuller than ever.”

• Sept. 20: Laura Pausini

  The first guest arrived during the third show of the residency, when Laura Pausini made a surprise appearance to sing “Antología” alongside Shakira. The Italian singer had previously covered the Pies Descalzos (1995) classic on her album Yo Canto 2 (2026), but this time she was able to perform it with Shakira, creating one of the most moving moments of the night.

  “I don’t know if it showed on the big screen, but her eyes were filled with tears,” Pausini said before joking about the title of the Colombian singer’s latest album. “The album is Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don’t Cry Anymore), but tonight there’s one woman who’s going to cry tears of happiness, and that’s me.” The two ended the performance in an embrace.

• Sept. 25: Triplets Ghetto Kids

  The Triplets Ghetto Kids also joined the residency during “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The collective of young Ugandan dancers reunited with Shakira after having shared the stage with her during the World Cup final performance.

• Sept. 27: Manuel Turizo

  The guest for the sixth night of the residency was Manuel Turizo, whose appearance Shakira had teased on social media the day before. The two Colombians teamed up to perform their 2023 collaboration “Copa Vacía” live for the first time.
