Antonelli wins US GP but made to wait for title
Kimi Antonelli produced another masterful drive to win the United States Grand Prix -- but will have to wait to clinch his first Formula 1 world title.
Antonelli came into the Austin race with slim hopes of winning the championship with four races remaining, needing to win, for George Russell to finish ninth or lower, and for Lewis Hamilton fifth or lower.
While he held up his end of the bargain -- by more than 15 seconds from Charles Leclerc -- results elsewhere didn't quite go his way.
