Egyptian ambassador to Tunisia meets community members to review welfare, initiatives

Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia Bassem Hassan met on Saturday, September 19, 2026, with a number of Egyptian citizens to follow up on their conditions and listen to their concerns and inquiries.

The Ambassador reviewed the outcomes of the seventh edition of the Egyptians Abroad Conference, highlighting cultural, educational, investment, and medical initiatives alongside ways for the community to leverage these programs.

The meeting also addressed community affairs, primarily residency and visa procedures, bilateral trade, and flight connectivity between the two countries.

The embassy reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining communication with expatriates, addressing their complaints, and valuing their role in strengthening bilateral ties.
