Exclusive: Emmerdale confirms shocking ending to Sadie King's storyline

Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has revealed plans for Sadie King's return storyline to reach an explosive climax in the coming months.
Sadie has wreaked havoc in the Dales since returning last month – from lying about the late Jimmy King, to clashing with Kim Tate.

When Patsy Kensit reprised the role earlier this year, she was always open about how her stay would be finite – she'll be filming the ITV soap until December.
When Inside Soap recently caught up with Emmerdale's producer Sophie Roper for an exclusive chat, we couldn't resist asking how this soapy saga is going to end.
"Sadie has been a phenomenal return to the show," praised Sophie. "As for how that story concludes, we are building to the end point and a big denouement for that character.
"Sadie's momentum, and the impact she's going to have on our villagers, is only going to grow. There will be some incredible, exciting twists and turns, and a lot of unexpected revelations."
Fans are expecting some explosive scenes this week, as a recent trailer released by the show hinted that Nicola King is about to find out that Sadie has been manipulating her.

That's just the end of one chapter, though, as next week's episodes see Sadie shift her focus elsewhere. When Joe Tate asks for Sadie's help with destroying the Miligans' marriage, she suggests that she can make it happen by seducing Caleb.
Sadie quickly gets to work with her mission, but soon realises that it may be trickier than she'd expected as Caleb is so loyal to his wife Ruby.

Amid all the lies and manipulation, though, Sophie has confirmed that Sadie's ex-lover Cain has seen her at her most genuine. In a heartbreaking scene last month, Sadie told Cain that she was pregnant with his baby when she left the Dales but sadly suffered a miscarriage.
"There was real truth in that scene for me," explained Sophie. "I really loved seeing a more genuine side to her. The intention was for that to be completely truthful."
