Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s gorgeous dog, Wendy, made her public debut in the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s new Tommy Hilfiger campaign — but not before the pop star gave her blessing.

The athlete opened up about showing Wendy off in his recently unveiled commercial for the fashion campaign on the latest episode of New Heights posted Wednesday (Sept. 2). While flipping through some of the photos featuring the Samoyed posing alongside her owner, Jason Kelce told his younger brother, “Oh, I didn’t know that Wendy was out of the bag!”

“Yes, she is officially a picture dog,” Travis replied before explaining how the canine cameo came to be. “It was fun. We were gonna use a dog in the shoot, and the entire team was mentioning we were gonna use a dog and [asking] am I OK with dogs, and I’m like, ‘I have a dog.'”

When the Hilfiger team encouraged the NFL star to bring Wendy to the shoot, he recalled saying, “Uh, let me talk it over with my fiancée, at the time, let me talk it over with Tay and figure out what’s the best way to go about this.'”

Travis added that the 14-time Grammy winner “was all for it” and proudly praised Wendy’s effortless posing capabilities. “She’s a model dog,” he said. “Little Wendy’s a little over a year old now — we’ve had her for quite a while. Tried to keep it under wraps, but got sniped at the airport.”

The Grotesquerie star was referring to the paparazzi photos that surfaced in mid-July, just a few days after Kelce and Swift got married with approximately 1,000 guests in attendance at Madison Square Garden in New York City. A photographer captured snaps of Wendy descending the stairs of the Eras Tour headliner’s private jet, accompanied by Kelce.

Before that, fans had speculated that a dog had joined the Swift-Kelce family — which also includes the singer’s cats Meredith, Olivia and Benjamin Button — after a video emerged of Wendy exiting a car believed to be owned by Swift.

Elsewhere in the new episode, which serves as the premiere of New Heights‘ latest season, Travis dished about his wedding. “I’m a married man,” he said, flashing his gold wedding band. “It was insane. Me and Taylor are so thankful to everybody that showed up.”

“It was just so magical, man,” he continued. “Thank you to everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this. We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions, we needed it to be a private feel. MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”
