Milan ready to use Pulisic and Rabiot contract clauses to June 2028

Milan are not in a rush to negotiate new contracts with Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot, as both have options to extend until June 2028 that will be activated imminently.
There was a report in The Athletic today that the Rossoneri have not even started discussions with Pulisic’s entourage over a new deal, despite the fact his current agreement will expire at the end of this season.
This comes after suggestions in the Italian media this morning that a contract to June 2031 was being planned out.
It is true that Milan are in absolutely no hurry to get the talks started, because they know full well that they have insurance.
Milan have Pulisic and Rabiot under control
Calciomercato reporter Daniele Longo assures that the club has an extension clause to June 2028 and it should be activated over the next few days.
It was already present when the first contract was drawn up for the USMNT star in 2023, when completing the €20.3m plus bonus transfer from Chelsea.
The same situation is also true for Rabiot, whose contract is again set to expire in June 2027, but has an option to extend for one more year that will be activated imminently.
In the case of the France international, he only joined last summer from Olympique Marseille and penned a short-term contract.
