Basketball star Dennis Rodman joined Donald Trump during an event in Texas on Thursday as the U.S. president angles for another meeting with the North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un.

Rodman, who has traveled to North Korea multiple times, was seen at a Peterbilt Motors plant in a suburb outside Dallas, where Trump was delivering a speech championing his tariff policies.

Before his remarks, Trump sidestepped questions from reporters about why Rodman, who played for the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls, was there. When asked if he was using him to help broker peace with Pyongyang, the president replied he had a “good relationship” with the reclusive country.
