About ‘Fourth Wing’

Written by Rebecca Yarros and published in 2022, ‘Fourth Wing’ is set in the fictional world of the Empyrean kingdom. The plot of the book follows 20-year-old Violet Sorrengail, who is forced by her commanding general mother to join the brutal Basgiath War College to become a dragon rider instead of living a quiet life as a scribe, as she intended. The plot is mainly set against the backdrop of the fictional militarized kingdom of Navarre.

This is also where she meets Xaden Riorson, a powerful, ruthless single leader who has been carrying a deep family grudge against Violet's mother.
