Christian Pulisic assures he is ‘very happy at Milan and want to continue here’ while feeling ‘very positive’ about coach Ruben Amorim.
There were reports of possible Premier League or MLS interest in the USMNT forward, who is finding his form after numerous injury problems in recent months.
He finally scored his first competitive goal of 2026 in the 3-0 Serie A victory over Lecce, and spoke to reporters at a fan event today.
Pulisic eager to stay on at Milan

“It has been a strange start to the season,” he told Sky Sport Italia and others.
“I was coming back from an injury and I really wanted to play, but it took time, I worked with the team and coach to get back on the field.”
It wasn’t just any goal, because it involved a remarkable first touch to control the pass, then scored with the other foot.
“I do think it’s one of the best goals of my career. I didn’t realise quite how difficult it was until after I saw it back.”

Milan are taking their time to adapt to Ruben Amorim’s ideas, although he has learned from Manchester United mistakes and is in turn making adjustments to fit the players at his disposal.
“We are learning his system, how he wants to play, I am very positive on him. Our most recent match was one of the best, so we want to build on that,” noted Pulisic.
“He wants us to find certain positions, especially when we have the ball, and to make specific movements. Obviously, we are also given some freedom in attack, but there are principles and positions to keep to.”

Although technically his contract is due to expire at the end of this season, Milan do have an option to extend by another year, which is why they are in no rush to negotiate a new deal.
“I am very happy at Milan. The club is giving me everything, it helps me a great deal. I am concentrated on playing, but we’ll talk about it, I hope soon,” said Pulisic.
“I feel really happy at Milan and want to continue here.”

Among his teammates in the Rossoneri squad this season are Goncalo Ramos and Luka Modric.
“Playing with Ramos is fantastic, because he works so hard and helps the team defensively, he never stops running. I am not worried for him, the goals will come,” concluded Pulisic.
“Modric sets the example for everyone with the way he controls the game. He is 41 years old, doing what he does, there is so much we can learn from a professional like him.”
