The Ebonyi State chapter of All Progressives Congress have met with some critical stakeholders of the party, resolving to win all available elective positions in the state in the 2027 general elections.

The Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha-led State Working Committee held the meeting on Monday at the party Secretariat in Abakaliki, and was attended by National Assembly members, House of Assembly members, Local Government chairmen, APC LG chairmen and all candidates of the party for the 2027 elections.

Emegha said, “All the stakeholders must work in synergy within their various senatorial districts, federal constituencies and state constituencies. The party must not lose any of the elective positions to the opposition parties.”

Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and the Senator representing Ebonyi North Zone, Peter Nwebonyi, and the member representing Ezza South/ Ikwo Federal Constituency, Chinedu Ogah, assured the party leadership of the readiness of all the candidates of the party to close ranks and work together with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a landslide victory for the party.

ALGON Chairman and the Executive Chairman of the Izzi Local government Area, Mrs Helen Aduga, pledged the unwavering support for all the local government chairmen in the state to the victory of all the party’s candidates.

She promised on behalf of her colleagues that they would justify the confidence reposed in them by the governor, the party and other stakeholders, by working tirelessly for the victory of the party across the state.
