He’s built his career on stealing games against elite offenses, and McDavid and Draisaitl are the toughest test he’ll get all month. If he holds them in check, the Devils are in great shape at home.

Edmonton’s goaltending gap. Tristan Jarry gives the Oilers a 4-1-2 record and two shutouts, but his .901 save percentage is a red flag against a Devils team that can push the pace. Edmonton can survive a shaky night from its goalie when its stars are rolling. It’s much harder when the other team’s goalie is standing on his head.
