IDF officer killed in southern Lebanon, three others injured during operation

Capt. Eliav Haim Tzapalamus, aged 21, from Haifa, died in a combat incident in southern Lebanon, the military announced on Thursday. He was a combat officer in the Combat Engineering Corps, 603rd Battalion, 7th Brigade.

Tzapalamus was killed when a Humvee flipped during operational activity in the Litani sector.

Three other IDF soldiers were lightly injured in the incident.

The three soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital, and their families have been notified.
