Five Serie A players have been included in the latest Belgium national team squad by Mark van Bommel, including Napoli star Kevin De Bruyne and Milan’s derby hero Diego Moreira.

Belgium will be in Nations League action in November, taking on Turkiye away from home on Thursday, November 12, before hosting Italy in Brussels on Sunday, November 15.

As things stand, France top the group with 10 points from their first four matches of the Nations League group stage, Italy sit in second on seven points, Belgium are third on six points and Turkiye are in fourth place with zero points.

The Belgium squad includes four players who play their club football in Italy, including Napoli’s De Bruyne. He is coming off a difficult period with the Partenopei, who have lost seven of their first 14 competitive matches of the 2026-27 season, including two over the last week.

It has been a slightly more encouraging week for Moreira, who scored and provided two assists in Milan’s 3-1 derby della Madonnina victory over rivals and reigning Serie A champions Inter last weekend. Milan have since fallen to a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home against Ferencvaros in the Europa League, but the Belgian was not introduced until half-time of that game.

There are also call-ups for Atalanta’s Charles De Ketelaere, who is hoping to reach double figures for goals for Belgium this international break, Parma midfielder Mandela Keita and Bologna defender Arthur Theate.
