Strictly Come Dancing star Delta Goodrem confirmed to return this weekend following injury

Strictly Come Dancing star Delta Goodrem will return to the BBC series this weekend after missing Saturday's (17 October) live show, with bosses said to be "delighted" by her comeback from injury.
The singer and former Neighbours star, who is partnered by Kai Widdrington, withdrew from the fourth week of the competition after sustaining a rib injury, with the pair being granted a bye into the following week.
Strictly rules state that couples cannot miss a second week due to injury, but luckily for the duo – and viewers – it has been confirmed that Delta and Kai will return to the iconic dancefloor on Saturday (24 October).

In a post via the show's official Instagram account, a statement read: "Following her bye last week due to injury, we’re delighted to confirm Delta has been given the all clear to dance again this weekend."
"She'll return to the #Strictly ballroom on Saturday night, and Abi Clarke will pop into her rehearsal room for a chat on Training Room Diaries on Wednesday evening," it continued, with the post also including a photo of the duo.
The comment section was filled with messages from delighted fans and followers, with former Strictly star and current It Takes Two host Ellie Taylor leaving a comment as she wrote: "Hurrah!"
"So happyyyyy!!!! Delta’s absence was so visible last weekend! Keeping fingers crossed for you Delta and you being in good spirits," commented one fan, while another added: "Yessssssss thank goodness she was so missed."
Delta and Kai had previously expressed their desire to return, with Kai stating on It Takes Two last week: "We're going to slow things down a little next week and ease back into it. But as Delta reminded me today on FaceTime, 'it always has to be iconic.'"
