DILG chief dares Duterte to show proof of police harassment

MANILA, Philippines — Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Monday challenged Vice President Sara Duterte and her camp to present evidence of alleged police harassment during the service of warrant for her arrest over grave threats.

“There was no SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics). There was no armed component. The women were all unarmed. They were duly accepted into their residence and into their office,” Remulla said at a press briefing in Camp Crame.

“So, any thoughts of harassment during the service [are] totally untrue. We dare them to present any CCTVs that they have in their office, in their residence, of harassment that went on in the service of the warrant,” he added./dp
