All of Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas season 2’s teams are new

Food Network’s holiday competitions this year include:
- Jesse Palmer and Holiday Baking Championship;
- Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown, on which Bobby and male chefs will battle his girlfriend Brooke Williamson and female chefs, making this just like the holidays;
- a diminished version of that show that helps fund transphobia, which had its budget cut so it’s now being filmed in Canada; and,
- best of all, the return of Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas.
As with the first season, TOC’s holiday edition is a bracketed tournament between pairs of chefs, who will prepare one savory and one sweet dish.
Half of the chefs on season two competed in the first All-Star Christmas. However, none of the pairs are the same.
While I loved some of the duos and wouldn’t mind seeing them return, I also think this ensures the show stays fresh, giving us different dynamics—and perhaps some fun rivalries if former partners show up on opposite sides of the kitchen.
The new season premieres Nov. 8, with two-hour episodes every Sunday.
