Who left Strictly 2026? Sixth celebrity to be voted out revealed

Translate

Bethany Antonia has been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2026 alongside pro partner Nancy Xu.

The couple landed in the dreaded dance-off alongside Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby after earning the least amount of public votes.

Both had to perform their routines again, with Bethany and Nancy dancing a Foxtrot to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis, while Cach and Maddie performed their Waltz to That Ain’t You by Mulaa Joans.

When it went to the judges to make the decision, they were split, with Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voting to save Bethany and Nancy, while Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas voting to save Cach and Maddie.

As it was determined head judge Shirley had the deciding vote, it meant that Bethany and Nancy were sent home.

Cach and Maddie were already at the bottom of the leaderboard after only scoring 26 on Saturday night’s live show, alongside John Nellis and Katya Jones who scored the same.

Bethany and Nancy comparatively seemed to be in a safer space with 30 points, putting them fifth from the bottom ahead of Will Best and Dianne Buswell (who scored 29 points) and Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley (who were awarded 28 points), as well as Cach and Maddie and John and Katya.

Bethany and Nancy will now join Ellie Taylor on Strictly: It Takes Two on Monday at 6.30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer to discuss their journey on the dancing series.

The pair’s elimination came after the Strictly pros commemorated Remembrance Sunday with a special routine inspired by The Monument to the Women of World War II.

Opening with British soldiers leaving for war, the dance’s story focused on the lives of women during the conflict, and was set to the Peter Gabriel arrangement of Heroes.

Gregory Porter also performed on the show, with Alexis Warr and Aljaž Škorjanec dancing.

Next week, the remaining contestants will continue to compete for their place in the competition.

It has not yet been confirmed if Jaime Winstone, who was given a 'bye' week after sustaining a torn abdominal muscle in rehearsals, will return to the dancefloor.

If she is not given the all-clear by a doctor, she will be withdrawn on medical grounds.
