SINGAPORE, Oct 2 — Singapore's state-owned investment company Temasek plans to deepen its presence in West Asia by establishing offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as it seeks investment and partnership opportunities in the region.

The offices are expected to be operational in the first half of 2027, subject to statutory approvals, Temasek said in a statement on Wednesday, reported Xinhua.

The company will also engage with institutions in Qatar and other West Asian markets as part of its expansion.

Temasek said the region's economic transformation, driven by national development and diversification plans, presents long-term opportunities for the company and its portfolio firms.

The expansion will also support access to opportunities in Central Asia and Africa.

With Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, Temasek's global network will expand to 15 offices across 11 countries in 2027. — Bernama-Xinhua
