Hollyoaks' Abigail causes chaos for another character in new school story

Hollyoaks’ Abigail Matthews will make life difficult for Sienna Blake next week, as the villain tries to sabotage her job interview! Abigail is currently at the centre of a harrowing storyline, with the teacher secretly grooming teenager Dee Dee Hutchinson.

Sienna has started to play a role in this story, with Dee Dee recently coming to her to ask about being attracted to another woman. However, Sienna got the wrong end of the stick and later suspected that Dee Dee has feelings for her friend Kathleen-Angel.

Abigail has forced Dee Dee to confirm this suspicion about Kathleen-Angel, but isn’t happy with her – and Sienna – for bringing her family closer to the real truth.

Meanwhile, Sienna recently slept with Dee Dee’s dad Tony, although the pair are remaining just friends for now. But in next week’s episodes, Sienna has a lot of time on her hands so is frequently hanging around with Tony.

Tony needs some space from her, however, so he approaches Nancy and begs her to consider Sienna for the new PA position that has just opened up at the school.

Nancy agrees to this and later interviews Sienna for the job. However, Abigail turns up and gets involved at this important moment, questioning Sienna on her criminal record. How will Sienna respond to Abigail’s intervention?

Regardless of this interview sabotage, it seems that Sienna will get the PA job at Hollyoaks High, as producer Hannah Cheers recently exclusively told Digital Spy that the character will soon play a bigger role in the Abigail and Dee Dee plot.

"Sienna becomes more involved in that story and starts working at the school," she said, "so there’s lots of fun to be had with her and Nancy’s dynamic.

"Sienna gets a job as Nancy’s PA. I love that they’ve come so far after 12 years, after everything that happened when Sienna tried to steal Nancy’s life!

"At first Sienna is just trying to get her head around Nancy’s paperwork systems – but she also becomes a bit of a thorn in Abigail’s side. It’s very enjoyable to watch."

Elsewhere next week, Abigail encourages Dee Dee to try out for the lead role in the school play. But at the audition arrives, Trina gives a perfect performance while Dee Dee struggles. Who will get the part?
