Nobody is laughing h3h3 over this matter.

Because in her latest piece of content, H3 Podcast’s Hila Klein said that her husband and co-host Ethan Klein has been having an affair for more than six months.

"I am living in a nightmare I can’t wake up from," she revealed in an Oct. 22 Instagram post. "My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies."

Sensing "something was wrong," Hila said she asked Ethan questions and expressed her “concerns and hurt feelings” with him.

"But I was met with dismissive answers and no action," she continued. "Things that bothered me continued to bother me, and he did nothing about it. So I trusted him. Because I loved him. I stopped questioning him and began to question myself, my own instincts. My sanity."

Ultimately, though, Hila said her gut instinct was proven true.

"Eventually, he was caught in a lie, and I knew I was done," she added. "But the lies continued. 'It was just a kiss' became 'it was emotional cheating.' After I dragged these lies from him, he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over 6 months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know.

E! News has reached out to Ethan's rep for comment but has yet to hear back. While he has yet to address the affair allegations directly, he seemed to address the public's fascination.

"I know a lot of people are understandably looking for a comment from me, but I ask that you please respect my family's privacy and do not contact them looking for me or asking for their comments," Ethan wrote on Instagram Stories Oct. 23. "They have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment. Thank you."

Who Is Ethan Klein?

A content creator, Ethan launched h3h3Productions with Hila on YouTube in 2011. They released comedy and reaction videos on their channel before dropping the H3 Podcast in 2016.

Over the years, Ethan and Hila have faced other controversies, including online feuds, brief YouTube suspensions over his commentary and lawsuits.

Who Is Hila Klein?

Along with cohosting the H3 Podcast, Hila is the founder of the apparel company Teddy Fresh—which has been worn by stars like Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel—and makeup brand Teddy Glow.

Her brother is Moses Hacmon, who is married to fellow social media star Trisha Paytas.

Over the years, Hila and Ethan’s complicated dynamic with Moses and Trisha has played out online, with Ethan and Trisha launching the Frenemies podcast in 2020 before it abruptly ended the following year. As the family drama continued, Hila expressed little hope that she and Ethan would reconcile with Trisha and Moses.

"It’s done," she said on the H3 Podcast in September 2024. "It’s not gonna happen."

The two met in the mid 2000s while Ethan was enjoying a Birthright trip to Hila's native Israel, where she served in the Israeli military.

"A year later, she came back and moved to L.A.," he recalled in a 2017 YouTube video, "and the rest is history."

While Ethan and Hila were dating, they began making YouTube videos for fun. However, their social media careers grew along with their relationship, the duo marrying in 2012.

"We met twenty years ago,” she wrote in a June 2025 Instagram post, "we’ve spent half our lives together. It feels like my life truly began when I met you, and every day, I feel so lucky that we get to walk through this life side by side."

On Oct. 22, Ethan announced that "the H3 Podcast will be put on an indefinite hiatus."

Meanwhile, their crew released a statement expressing their support for Hila.

"We are all shocked, angry and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair," the Oct. 23 message read. "As soon as we found out, we all agreed we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. We don’t yet know what that means for the future. There’s a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you."

However, they made one thing clear.

"We stand with Hila and will support her every step of the way," the crew added. "We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he has caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you."

Adding they’re "safe," "sticking together" and "looking after each other," the crew admitted it’s "hard to find the words for what we’re feeling" and thanked fans for their love.

What Else Has Hila Klein Said About Ethan Klein’s Alleged Affair?

In her own post, Hila expressed heartache over Ethan’s alleged infidelity.

"The betrayal I feel is immeasurable,” she continued in her Oct. 22 Instagram message. "The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business. My only family on this side of the world. How do I even begin to make sense of this?"

For now, she’s just trying to find her footing.

"I don’t know what comes next; I’ve never been here before," Hila added. "I am in survival mode, trying to navigate separation, co-parenting, and unthinkable heartbreak. All I can do right now is focus on taking care of myself and my children, one day at a time."

At the end of her post, she sent a message to anyone in a similar situation. "You’re not crazy. Trust your instincts. Trust yourself,” she concluded. “If you’re not being treated right, get up and leave."

Again, Ethan has yet to address the cheating allegations directly. But in a 2019 video titled “Hila Accuses Ethan of Infidelity,” the two got into a debate over whether it’s OK for a person in a relationship to scroll through the Instagram profile of somebody who reaches out, with Ethan saying he would look out of curiosity and Hila saying she wouldn’t.

Stressing he hadn’t done anything, Ethan added, “There’s no way that I would ever be unfaithful to you in a trillion years.”
