The perfect replacement for Peaky Blinders and The Crown is coming in the form of House of Hudson.

Premiering in 2013, Peaky Blinders has been a massive success for the BBC and for Netflix, running for six successful seasons and a movie in the form of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (2026). The Crown, too, a Netflix Original, has been a major performer, also with six seasons.

Now, per Deadline, Titan1Studios is developing a new historical drama series billed as "The Crown meets Peaky Blinders" in the form of House of Hudson. Based on Stephen R. Bown's book, The Company: The Rise and Fall of the Hudson's Bay Company, the series doesn't yet have a showrunner, but the search for one is now underway.

The report reveals that the series will focus on “the cutthroat, 19th-century corporate battles that forged a continent,” with the rivalry between the Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Company set to be a key component. Check out the official synopsis below:

“Set against the dramatic backdrop of the 1820s, House of Hudson operates as The Crown meets Peaky Blinders – exploring the bloody war of attrition between the Hudson’s Bay Company and its hyper-violent rival, the North West Company, culminating in their forced corporate merger and the ruthless rise of Sir George Simpson, the cold-blooded governor known as ‘The Little Emperor.'”
