Niki Prasad was handed her T20I debut in India’s first T20I against Zimbabwe at the Shaheed Veer Narayan International Stadium in Raipur on Friday.
The 20-year-old captained India to the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup title in 2025. She also led India to victory in the U-19 Asia Cup as well.
Niki has been a regular presence in the A setup and was pivotal to India A’s recent One-Day series triumph over Australia A in New Chandigarh.
Niki plays for Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League.
