Maya Jama is one of this year’s traitors
BBC
This year, only two traitors were picked initially, a switch-up from the normal format. Typically, three traitors are selected and last years were Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.
Arriving in the turret, Jama and Grant were greeted by Winkleman, who revealed that they wouldn’t be a duo for too much longer.
She explained that tomorrow night, two faithfuls will pitch themselves to the pair to plead their case as a potential traitor. Only one will be successful and the other will be murdered.

At the end of the episode Amol Rajan and James Acaster were selected as the potential future Traitors. They then had to “plead” to Jama and Grant for their place in the reality show.
After making their case to join the duo, both the journalist and comedian were instructed to lie down in coffins whilst the Traitors discussed who would be best to join their cause.
A huge focus was who could help save Grant, who declared himself a Traitor in front of a very suspicious bunch of fellow contestants.
Who will join the team and who will be murdered? We’ll all be sitting on the edge of our seats until tomorrow to find out.
