NTV to broadcast live Kenya v Eritrea Afcon qualifier
NTV and Nation FM will broadcast live the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers Group “D” match between Kenya and Eritrea at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi, on Saturday.
The match will kick off at 4pm.
Kenya will be looking to end a three-match losing streak to Eritrea that began in Nairobi in 2006.
The other Group D fixture has South Africa hosting Guinea at Orlando Stadium, Johannesburg, on the same day.
Group winners will earn an automatic slot in the 2027 finals, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Harambee Stars are, however, assured of a place in the finals by virtue of being hosts.
Broadcasting major sporting events live is not new to Nation Media Group.
NTV beamed live coverage of the 2021 World Athletics Under-20 Championships. The stations also regularly transmit live coverage of the annual World Athletics Continental Gold Tour Kip Keino Classic, the World Athletics Continental Gold Sirikiwa Classic Cross Country, and the Magical Kenya Open golf tournament.
