Minecraft Dungeons II cosmetics: Full list, codes and how to unlock them all

Minecraft Dungeons II was released yesterday and fans are already busy exploring what this highly-anticipated sequel has in store.

But if you want to navigate The Sift in style, the first new dimension Mojang has introduced to Minecraft in more than 14 years, then you’re in luck – new capes, skins and pets in both Minecraft Dungeons II and Minecraft can be unlocked.

But for now, let’s dive in to all the rewards up for grabs!

The main rewards on the table seem to be capes, with six different capes to unlock:

• Aurora Cape (available in Minecraft only)
• Hero Cape (available in Minecraft Dungeons II and Minecraft)
• Twisted Cape (available in Minecraft Dungeons II and Minecraft)
• Soul Cape (available in Minecraft Dungeons II only)
• Corrupted Creeper Cape (available in Minecraft Dungeons II only)
• Special Cape (available in Minecraft Dungeons II only)

In terms of skins available for Minecraft Dungeons II, classic looks like Steve and Alex can be unlocked, as well as four dark-golden variations of Valorie, Kellen, Ren and Flores. As for pets, a Twisted Chicken is up for grabs, alongside a Blub companion from The Sift dimension.

How can I unlock these rewards?

For the Hero Cape, you will need to login to Minecraft Dungeons II with the same Microsoft account you used to play the original Minecraft Dungeons – but make sure to do this before 31 December 2026 when the offer expires!

Once you receive information about the Hero Cape in Minecraft Dungeons II, you can login to Minecraft: Java or Bedrock Edition to unlock it in the main game too.

As for the Twisted Cape, Twisted Chicken Pet and the Alex and Steve skins, this bundle was only available if you pre-ordered Minecraft Dungeons II. The Twisted Cape can also be unlocked in Java and Bedrock so make sure you’re logged in to the same Microsoft account.

Similarly, the Soul Cape, dark-golden skin variations and the Blub pet, are all unlockable if you have purchased Minecraft Dungeons II Deluxe Edition.

According to the official Minecraft website, the Corrupted Creeper Cape and the Special Cape will pop up in promotional activities in the future, but are currently not available.

However, if you were lucky enough to attend Gamescom or Tokyo Game Show this year, then you might’ve picked up a code which could’ve been used to redeem the Corrupted Creeper Cape.

Finally, the Aurora Cape is a bit more complicated, despite being launched in honour of Minecraft Dungeons II, the cape is only available in Minecraft.

To get the Aurora Cape, you will need to watch any rewards-enabled Minecraft Dungeons II livestream on TikTok (for a minimum of 3 minutes) and Twitch (for a minimum of 15 minutes) during the promotional period between 29 September to 14 October.

After you meet the requirements, you will receive a code for the Aurora Cape on Twitch or via TikTok notifications, which you can redeem here.
