Lt Gen Mohit Seth to be new GOC of White Knight Corps

Maj Gen Mohit Seth took over as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) relieving Maj Gen SS Slaria who has moved to Headquarter Northern Command.

JAMMU: Lieutenant General Mohit Seth will take over as the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s Nagrota-based White Knight Corps (16 Corps) on Oct 1. He will replace Lt Gen P K Mishra, who will move to a new posting, officials said.In his distinguished military career spanning over three decades, Lt Gen Seth has served in key command and staff positions in J&K, the northeast, and at the Army HQ. He is currently the Commandant of the Indian Military Training Team in Bhutan.Lt Gen Seth previously was GOC of the Counter-Insurgency Force Kilo (Kilo Force), an elite formation of the Army’s Rashtriya Rifles tasked with anti-terror operations in north Kashmir. He has also served as the Indian Army Liaison Officer at the High Commission of India, United Kingdom.
