Simpson is set to compete with 110 candidates, hoping to inherit the crown from 2025 titleholder Opal Suchata Chuangsri at the finals night in Nha Trang, Vietnam on Saturday, 7 p.m. (8 p.m. in the Philippines.)
Simpson — who already secured a spot in the Top 40 after topping the Head-to-Head challenge for Asia and Oceania — is vying to win the Philippines’ second Miss World crown, following Megan Young’s victory in 2013. /ra
