'Toxic' records growth on Day 18

Meanwhile, 'Toxic' witnessed a rise in its India net collection on its third Saturday. According to Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 33 lakhs on Day 18. The latest figure represents a 57.1% increase from the previous day. On its third Friday, the film had earned Rs 21 lakhs in India net.The Saturday collection came from 311 shows. In comparison, 'Toxic' had 274 shows on Friday.

Yash starrer faces competition from new releases

The increase in collections came amid competition from several movies that recently arrived in theatres. 'Toxic' is currently sharing the theatrical space with releases such as 'Im Game', 'Irumudi', 'Sardaar 2' and 'Haiwaan'.The Day 18 numbers indicate an improvement over the previous day's performance. However, the movie's overall box-office journey has remained below the level expected after its highly anticipated release.
