Pokemon Delta Reign Officially Launches November 6, 2026

It was back in February that the Pokémon franchise celebrated its 30th anniversary. Celebrating three decades of both Pokémon video game entries as well as its long-running Pokémon Trading Card Game, it is hard to believe that the Nintendo franchise first burst onto the scene back in 1996.

Now, with over 100 official Pokémon video games and more than 85 billion individual Pokémon cards printed worldwide, as of 2026, it is safe to say that love for the franchise is far from disappearing, especially as fans can look forward to a major release.

As we already know, 16 September saw the launch of the Pokémon Trading Card 30th Celebration set, which welcomed 128 brand-new cards to the long-running card collection. However, with the hype surrounding the new launch reaching fever pitch, stores such as Target had to implement new measures in order to prevent scalpers. Whilst scalpers should not be encouraged, events like this just go to show how big the Pokémon franchise truly is, even three decades on from its inception.

However, there is more to look forward to than getting your hands on the Pokémon Trading Card 30th Celebration set, as launching this November is Pokémon TCG Delta Reign.

As the next expansion pack in Pokémon TCG, Delta Reign is set to arrive on 6 November 2026, but if you cannot wait until then, some fans will be able to get their hands on it sooner at special pre-release events starting from 24 October.

As long as featuring more Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, such as Mega Rayquaza ex, which returns for the first time since 2013's Pokémon X and Y era, the Delta Reign set will also introduce 'Legendary Stadiums', consisting of two stadiums which can be played alongside each other.

Although pre-orders for Pokémon TCG Delta Reign have not yet gone live, we do know exactly what each box will include. That includes:

• Four more Mega Evolution Pokémon ex (Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex)
• 6 standard Pokémon ex
• New Legendary Stadium mechanic that combines two Stadiums together, with three Legendary Stadiums available in the set (boosters with Stadiums include both required cards)
• 14 illustrations of rare Pokémon
• 17 ultra-rare Pokémon and Trainer cards
• Six special illustrated rare Pokémon and Supporter cards

As you can imagine, as soon as pre-orders for Pokémon TCG Delta Reign go live, it will be very soon before stock runs out, and so it is always worth keeping an eye on all retailers, both online and in the flesh, in order to secure your box. Other than that, we can only wish you luck and hope that you can settle down with your brand-new cards this November.
