'Hanuman Ansh' makers issue warning over film's rights after its Rs 342 crore box-office run: 'All rights only through the process set out in the inter-se agreements'

The makers of 'Hanuman Ansh' have issued a clarification regarding the film's ownership, rights and official representation, stating that no individual can independently claim authority to handle its affairs.

Swambhu Media Network Pvt. Ltd. has emphasised that all decisions concerning the film must be taken in accordance with agreements signed between its producers. The statement also cautions against unauthorised transactions, public claims or commitments made using the film's name.Based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharaj ji, 'Hanuman Ansh' has four officially recognised producers: Namrata G Singh, Dr.

Vishal Chaturvedi, Ragini Sona and Anupriya Nagar. The production company has clarified that all rights associated with the project, including theatrical, OTT, television, music, gaming and licensing rights across India and international markets, are governed by agreements between these producers. The company has further stated that matters concerning the film's publicity, award nominations, commercial rights and business collaborations cannot be handled independently.

Such decisions require the producers' approval and must be routed through the company's authorised channels. It has also made it clear that any agreements, public announcements or award-related claims made without the necessary consent will not be considered valid or binding. The statement read, “The Company is aware that an individual is representing themselves as authorised to deal with the rights in the Film.

No individual holds that authority. All rights in the Film (theatrical, streaming, broadcast, music, gaming, licensing, etc.), in India and Internationally, are dealt with only through the process set out in the inter-se agreements executed amongst the Producers.”As part of the clarification, the production house has designated Namrata G Singh and Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi as the film's sole Executive Directors.

They will be responsible for overseeing public relations, marketing, awards and strategic partnerships, ensuring that all official communication and decisions are handled through a single authorised team. The makers have also issued guidelines for the film's cast and crew, stating that they must obtain prior approval before participating in any public engagement related to the project. This includes media interviews, podcasts, YouTube shows and other promotional appearances.

Those interested in such engagements have been asked to contact the authorised representatives and secure formal confirmation beforehand.Reiterating its position, the company stated, “No party acting alone has authority to deal in the Film. Any such dealing is invalid and not binding on the Company or the Producers. Any statement, award claim or business arrangement made outside this process is not recognised by the Company.

Those who engage outside it do so entirely at their own risk.”Explaining the need to safeguard the film's identity and association with Maharaj ji, Executive Directors Namrata G Singh and Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi said, “Hanuman Ansh belongs to Maharaj ji’s devotees across the world. Our duty is to protect it, and to give every partner one clear and verified door to the Film.”Swambhu Media Network has also warned that it will pursue appropriate action across territories against anyone attempting to misuse the film's name, credits or intellectual property. The clarification comes after 'Hanuman Ansh' reportedly registered an impressive theatrical run at the box office.
