The SEC powerhouses will enter Neyland Stadium with identical records — 5-1 overall, 3-1 SEC — and both will be looking to recover their confidence after less-than-stellar performances last weekend. Alabama suffered its first loss of the season, falling 20-17 to the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, and Tennessee cut it far too close with a 24-17 win against the unranked Arkansas Razorbacks.

Both teams will also be missing some key talent, with the Crimson Tide’s leading receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams and the Vols will be without quarterback Faizon Brandon. George MacIntyre will step in as starting QB for a second straight week.

One of the biggest factors will be Tennessee’s home field advantage. The Vols have beaten the Tide the last two times Alabama visited Neyland, and they’re 32-8 at home since 2021. Still, oddsmakers are predicting that Bama will overcome the Vols’ energy, favoring the Tide by 7.5 points. For those who can’t make it to Neyland, ABC will handle a national broadcast.
