Como weren’t as sharp as usual after Champions League commitments, but Jacobo Ramon and Bruno Kaiki managed to secure victory over troubled Parma.

The Lariani have had a remarkable few weeks, beating Napoli away from home, then making Thursday’s historic Champions League debut to beat RB Leipzig 4-1. Cesc Fabregas gave Moise Kean and Chelsea-owned goalkeeper Robert Sanchez their full debuts, with only Jayden Addai out injured. Parma had just one point and one goal in Serie A after three rounds, so made changes with Simone Lontani returning, and Diego Carlos facing his former club.

See how it all unfolded on the Liveblog.

The hosts began to pin their opponents back into their final third, including a Nico Paz shot deflected wide, and Yan Couto screamer from distance that stung Edoardo Corvi’s gloves.

The breakthrough came when a corner was not cleared properly by Emanuele Valeri, so the Nico Paz cross-shot was tapped in at the back post by Jacobo Ramon from point-blank range.

Parma had a big chance to equalise on the stroke of half-time, as Lontani’s diving header was inches over the crossbar.

Jesus Rodriguez came off the bench and immediately saw a powerful angled drive charged down, but Parma were still in this and nearly drew level at the 66th minute.

Valeri rolled across from the left and David Romero came sliding in to thump the near post from close range, then Sascha Britschgi handled before his rebound was saved by Sanchez.

Como saw Bruno Kaiki get down the left and dink his finish over the on-rushing goalkeeper, but it floated just beyond both the empty net and Tasos Douvikas at the back post.

Romero tested Sanchez from distance, but Como did double their lead in chaotic circumstances. Jesus Rodriguez had two shots charged down before a mad scramble saw Bruno Kaiki eventually bundle over the line from eight yards.

It was nearly 3-0 moments later, Kaiki flashing a dangerous ball across the face of goal, just beyond Jesus Rodriguez sliding in.

Corvi also rushed off his line to parry from Yan Couto, with Luis Milla turning the rebound wide.

Parma did get only their second goal of the season in Serie A when Pontus Almqvist got down the right and pulled back for David Romero to sweep in first-time into the far bottom corner from 10 yards out.
