Tucker Wetmore Offers a 2-Word Answer When Addressing Ella Langley Dating Rumors

Tucker Wetmore has only a brief response when it comes to rumors that he is dating fellow country singer Ella Langley.

A recent TikTok video showed what appeared to be a question-and-answer session featuring Wetmore while he was making an appearance at WAVE in Wichita, Kan. A fan asked him, “So, like, there’s a rumor going around …,” to which the musician immediately began singing a quick snippet of Lee Brice’s 2018 country hit “Rumor.”

The fan finished her question, saying, “… that you and Miss Ella Langley are a thing. Can you confirm?”

Wetmore responded quickly and simply, saying, “Next question.”

Billboard has reached out to reps for Wetmore and Langley.

Langley, of course, has recently dominated the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 with her hit “Choosin’ Texas,” which has spent 24 nonconsecutive weeks atop the chart so far. Meanwhile, Wetmore has notched Country Airplay chart hits including “Wind Up Missin’ You” and “Wine Into Whiskey.” One of his most recent hits, “Brunette,” contains the lyric, “I need to find me a brunette,” a line some fans have further used to connect Wetmore to Langley.

Rumors about Langley and Wetmore have swirled for several months. In December 2025, Langley and Wetmore were spotted together on a trip with friends to the British Virgin Islands.

More recently, footage shared by TMZ seemingly showed Langley and Wetmore together at the Nashville Songwriters Awards in Nashville, where Langley had made a surprise appearance to perform, including a rendition of “Choosin’ Texas.” In the footage, Langley and Wetmore appeared to exit the Ryman through a side door and got into a car together. People recently reported that sources had confirmed that two are dating.

Both Langley and Wetmore are nominated for the upcoming CMA Awards, set for November in Nashville. Langley leads with the most nominations with nine (including her first for entertainer of the year), while Wetmore is up for new artist of the year.
