Translate

Emmy-nominated actor Young Mazino has signed with CAA for representation.

The Hollywood actor stars in Via Negativa, Hannah Peterson’s adaptation of Daniel Hornsby’s novel of the same name that premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Festival. Mazino also voices the role of Gef in Netflix’s animated feature Steps, alongside Ali Wong and Stephanie Hsu, which premieres in November.

After small roles in TV shows Blindspot, New Amsterdam and Blue Bloods, Mazino broke out in the role of Paul Cho in Netflix and A24’s Beef. Hollywood opportunities opened up for the Asian-American actor after his performance earned an Emmy nomination for best supporting actor in a limited series.

The first installment of Beef, created by Lee Sung Jin, also starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as two strangers who become embroiled in an escalating feud following a road-rage incident. The series returned with a new cast, led by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan, for a second installment earlier this year.

Mazino went on to play the role of Jesse in the second season of HBO’s The Last of Us, created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.

His other credits include starring opposite Ayo Edebiri in A24’s Opus, written and directed by Mark Anthony Green. In the video game space, Mazino will next star offer his voice and motion-capture performances as Private Park, the main protagonist of Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The game is set for release on Oct. 23.

Mazino continues to be represented by Gerald Lee at 1V1 Entertainment, Stephanie Moy at M88, Michael Auerbach at Jackoway Austen and Narrative PR.
