‘South Park’ Parodies ‘GTA VI’ Hype With Dog Poop Gameplay

Translate

As gamers await the release of Grand Theft Auto VI next month, South Park once again took aim at the upcoming game, this time armed with dog poop.

On Wednesday’s episode of the Comedy Central show (currently rebranded as South America for Season 29), the gang visits the local cattle ranch and gets a sneak peek at the video game, featuring a new gameplay in which Jason fights an NPC on Vice Beach with a bag of dog poop.

“Look at that, the graphics are seriously next level. You see the world-building?” an insider teases. “It’s a dog taking a poop. And people can pick up the dog poop. You can throw things at the person with dog poop, and if they choose to fight back, you can pick up the dog poop and actually attack them with the dog poop. That is what’s coming in November.”

The kids are in amazement as Cartman declares, “Dude, that game looks fucking tits!”

Wednesday’s South Park episode “Guinea Pig on a Stick” comes ahead of the highly-anticipated Nov. 19 release of Grand Theft Auto VI from Rockstar Games, the first GTA installment since 2013.

As the show refers to the game’s release as the “big change” coming in November, it also serves as Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s satirical reminder of the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
