Tumi Mathenge and Jakes Nyanjom Hint at Relationship During Radio Interview

Tumi Mathenge has offered her clearest indication yet that she and Homeboyz Radio presenter Jakes Nyanjom are in a relationship, saying the two are “doing well together” amid months of speculation about their closeness.

The daughter of musicians Nameless and Wahu Kagwi made the remarks during a visit to Jakes’ workplace, where he was hosting alongside his co-presenter Chunkz.

Chunkz used the opportunity to question the pair about their relationship after noting that their frequent appearances together online had led many people to believe they were dating.

Tumi responded coyly to the question.

“We are doing well, that is true, or what do you think?” she said.

Jakes echoed her response before turning the question back to Chunkz, asking him what he made of their social media posts and public appearances.

“We are doing well, or what do you think? When you see us online, what do you think?” Jakes asked.

Tumi and Jakes Talk About Their Time Together

The conversation continued after Chunkz pointed out that Tumi and Jakes had been spotted holding hands.

He noted, however, that he had never seen the two kiss and challenged them to settle the speculation during the radio show.

Jakes quickly dismissed the suggestion, joking that watching the two kiss would be similar to watching one’s parents show affection.

Instead, he revealed some of the ordinary activities they enjoy together.

“Maybe just playing FIFA together. I teach her,” he said.

Tumi added that they also watch movies and cook together at Jakes’ home.

She praised his cooking skills, offering listeners a glimpse into the time they spend together away from the public eye.

The Couple’s Social Media Clues

The growing speculation surrounding Tumi and Jakes has also been fuelled by their social media interactions.

Earlier, Tumi gifted Jakes a customised Manchester United jersey for his birthday. The back of the shirt carried the words “I Love My Girlfriend”, a detail that quickly drew attention from their followers.

Their frequent appearances together have since continued to fuel curiosity about the nature of their relationship.
