LL COOL J is coming to Las Vegas. On Thursday (Oct. 29), the rap legend announced Rock the Bells: The Residency is coming to Dolby Live at Park MGM in 2027.

The residency, “blending immersive storytelling, iconic hits and special guest performances,” is slated to kick off on May 15, 2027, and feature 11 dates running through mid-July.

Tickets are set to go on sale to the general public on Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster. Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets on Oct. 30, while MGM Rewards members, Ticketmaster and Live Nation customers get their shot on Oct. 31.

LL COOL J will lead the celebratory show with his catalog of anthems, along with DJ sets and surprise appearances from his rap friends.

The New York rap dignitary boasts 28 Billboard Hot 100 entries, eight of which reached the top 10, including a feature on Jennifer Lopez’s No. 1 smash “All I Have.” LL has a pair of Grammy Award wins and he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.

“Hip-hop started in a few neighborhoods in New York, and now it belongs to the whole world. Along the way it changed rock, R&B, pop, soul, dance music, all of it,” LL COOL J said in a statement. “Rock The Bells celebrates everybody who was part of that story. This isn’t me doing a show in Vegas. It’s all of us.”

The 58-year-old continued: “Artists from different generations and different genres, sharing one stage, for fans who were there at the beginning and kids hearing it for the first time. People from all over the world come to Vegas to celebrate, so this show belongs here.”

Following May 15, the rest of the month will have concerts on May 16, 19, 20 and 21. The residency will return following a brief hiatus on July 9, with additional dates set for July 10, 11, 14, 16 and 17.

LL COOL J returned with his first album in 11 years, THE FORCE in September 2024, which debuted at No. 9 on the Top Rap Albums chart.
