Minister honors student for helping victims of mall fire in New Cairo

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, Abdelaziz Qansouh, honored Haya Amr Fawzy, a third-year medical student at New Giza University, for her role in assisting those injured in the fire at the Arabella Plaza Mall in New Cairo’s Fifth Settlement.
The honor was bestowed in recognition of her courage in responding to the incident.
Qansouh emphasized that honoring the student was a tribute to her commendable act of humanity, noting that such initiative in helping others during times of crisis reflects the inherent deep-rooted humanitarian values of Egyptian society.
He added that the student’s actions demonstrated her bravery, compassion, and commitment to supporting others in times of hardship.
