A man and his nephew were found dead in a creek in Currimao, Ilocos Norte, following a suspected motorcycle accident.
According to a report by GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon on Tuesday, the victims were discovered in a creek in Barangay Lang-ayan, with a motorcycle believed to have been carrying them found nearby.
Authorities identified the older victim as a 23-year-old man, while his nephew was a minor.
Police investigation revealed that a resident walking along the area initially noticed a slipper on the roadside. Upon looking into the creek, the resident discovered the two victims and a motorcycle.
Police believe the two may have figured in a motorcycle accident, possibly crashing into the concrete railings before falling into the creek.
Authorities were still attempting to obtain a statement from the victims' relatives, according to the report. —RF, GMA News
