UCL | Feyenoord 0-3 Inter: Strong Nerazzurri statement

ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - NOVEMBER 03: Francesco Pio Esposito of FC Internazionale Milano scores his team’s second goal past Tjark Ernst of Feyenoord during the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 League Phase MD4 match between Feyenoord and FC Internazionale Milano at De Kuip on November 03, 2026 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Inter made a strong Champions League statement with a 3-0 victory away to Feyenoord thanks to Yann Bisseck, Pio Esposito and Piotr Zielinski goals.
The Nerazzurri mood was grim after losing the Derby della Madonnina to rivals Milan 3-1 on Saturday, having lost their first two Champions League games, with a scraped 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk. Alessandro Bastoni saw red in that game and was therefore suspended, with Lautaro Martinez, Curtis Jones, Luis Henrique and John Stones still injured.
Feyenoord had already beaten Como here 3-2 this season, but Jakub Moder, Bart Nieuwkoop, Gijs Smal, Jeremiah St. Juste, Thomas Beelen and Jordan Bos were unavailable.
See how it all unfolded on the Liveblog.

It was the perfect start for Inter, because they took the lead within eight minutes. Yann Bisseck pressed high to win it back, turned between two and swept the finish into the far bottom corner with the inside of the left foot. It was the defender’s first ever Champions League goal.

Federico Dimarco had a couple of shots charged down at the near post, but Anis Hadj Moussa dribbled past the Italian to force a tricky save out of Josep Martinez at the near post.
Inter doubled their lead when Djed Spence got down the right and stood up a deflected cross for the Francesco Pio Esposito header from four yards, despite Feyenoord complaints of his physical tussle with the defender to get on the end of it.

Piotr Zielinski drilled just wide, then tested the goalkeeper from distance with another trademark scorcher before half-time.
Spence stung the goalkeeper’s gloves at the near post after a strong run, but after several attempts came close, Zielinski finally got his goal with a ferocious strike from the edge of the area.

Pio Esposito had the ball in the net again on 66 minutes, but was offside when meeting the Dimarco roll across from a couple of yards.
