SHAH ALAM, Nov 1 — All schools in Selangor will operate as usual tomorrow, according to the Selangor Education Department (JPN).

In a statement today, the department urged all parties to continue prioritising the health and safety of students and school personnel in view of the current haze situation.

“Students attending school are encouraged to wear face masks as a precautionary measure, particularly those who are sensitive to haze conditions.

“Schools, parents and guardians are also advised to remain alert to developments in air quality and comply with instructions and precautionary measures issued by the authorities,” it said.

However, parents or guardians who are concerned about their children’s health are allowed to keep them at home but must inform the school accordingly.

Any further updates will be communicated through the department’s and schools’ official channels to ensure that the public receives accurate and up-to-date information. — Bernama
