Pokémon's big 30th anniversary celebration has done wonders for reviving nostalgia for all sorts of periods in the franchise's history. The TCG set is largely centered around 'mons from the older generations, and it even includes modern reproductions of some of the most iconic cards of all time.
Outside of that, fans are looking forward to the first steps into the next 30 years on the video game front, with Winds and Waves set to mark the first releases of the tenth generation next year. Outside of that, there are plenty of other releases on the way that serve as great ways to mark the occasion, including one that celebrates two of the best games we have seen in the series to date.

Though you won't find Pokémon fans agreeing on too much, it's pretty clear that the original Black and White are two of the best games developer Game Freak has ever produced. If they were a highlight for you as well, there's a new release that centers on the games' male protagonist, Hilbert, alongside the ever iconic Victini.
The Pokémon ARTFX J PVC Figure 1/8 Hilbert with Victini 20cm is a new physical release from Japanese manufacturer Kotobukiya, which is also currently available to pre-order from Hobby Figures. It's a highly detailed example that would look at home in any Pokémon fan's collection.
In sharing a description of the release so fans know what to expect if they do decide to pre-order, the manufacturer posted the following insight:
"Hilbert and Victini from Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version have joined the lineup! Based on a newly commissioned illustration by series artist Hitoshi Ariga, Hilbert is faithfully recreated in a familiar pose, packed with details from his textured shoes and sharp gaze to his Xtransceiver. Both Victini’s lively pose and V-shaped flames express victory! Add them to your collection and enjoy all the details!"
The figure is currently priced at a reasonably hefty $157.73, though you are paying for the level of detail and the unique addition of the Victini. The other thing to be aware of is the fact that the retailer is based in the UK. The good news is that they do ship to the United States, though you will have to pay a bit of a premium to get it over there.
It's also worth noting that pre-orders are not entitled to cancellations or refunds, as the items are specially requested to fill orders. Lastly, the new figure doesn't have a dispatch date for customers just yet, so be prepared to endure a bit of a wait if you commit to the purchase.
Outside of that, things should be calming down for Pokémon as a franchise for the time being, as the big celebrations make way for a more regular release schedule. Things will really start moving again when we get more information about the expected arrival date of Winds and Waves, though it's probably best not to expect to see any more of that until the middle of next year.
