Weather: KZN set for afternoon thundershowers and fresh winds on Saturday

KWAZULU-NATAL

Cloudy with morning fog over the southern and extreme western interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the north-west.

Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected in the north and extreme west.

The wind along the coast will be light easterly to south- easterly north of Sodwana Bay until mid-morning, otherwise light to moderate northerly to north-easterly, reaching fresh in the afternoon, becoming south-westerly in the extreme south by the evening.

DURBAN

Durban is going to be partly cloudy.

Light to moderate northerly to north-easterly winds will blow, strengthening to fresh in the afternoon.

Temperatures will range from 19°C to 26°C.

Free State should be fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy later during the day.

BLOEMFONTEIN

Bloemfontein is going to be fine becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon

Temperatures will range from a minimum of 10°C to a maximum of 31°C.

NORTH WEST

North West is going to be fine and hot to very hot.

MAHIKENG

Mahikeng is going to be fine.

Temperatures will range from a minimum of 14°C. to a maximum of 33°C.
