Celebrity Traitors 2026: Who's favourite to win after shock twist?

Translate

Celebrity Traitors has been thrown into fresh chaos after comedian Rob Beckett was murdered in a dramatic episode that left the remaining contestants facing a game-changing twist.

Michael Sheen remains the bookies’ favourite to win the BBC show, while Beckett has backed Traitor Maya Jama to go all the way.

Jama received a vote of confidence from the comedian, who was murdered during Thursday’s episode after being targeted by the Traitors in a deadly game of hide-and-seek.

The 40-year-old comedian was killed face-to-face by Jama, James Acaster and Hannah Fry, bringing his time in the Scottish Highlands to an end after five episodes.

The episode also saw the contestants take on the Death Parade mission, which involved navigating a series of gates while being chased by masked figures. The group successfully banked £8,000 for the prize pot.

However, tensions rose at the Round Table, where Fry was banished after the majority of contestants voted against her. The mathematician revealed she had been a Traitor, leaving Jama and Acaster with just two members in their ranks.

The pair subsequently decided to recruit a new member, offering YouTube star King Kenny the chance to join them. He accepted, bringing fresh uncertainty to the game.

Reflecting on his departure, Beckett admitted he was disappointed not to have made it further but felt he had experienced most of what the game had to offer.

“I’m a bit sad because I would have liked to have gone further,” he said.

“But a killing in plain sight, I’ve managed to get a Traitor, I’ve got a couple of faithfuls wrong at the banishments, I’ve done some missions, done the breakfast…

“I feel like I’ve done almost all of it.”

The father-of-two also admitted he was missing his children and was ready to return home.

“I was really missing the kids, so I’m happy to go,” he added.

“The kids wanted me to do it, and I’ve done five episodes and been murdered. So that’s enough, let daddy have a day off.”

Beckett also revealed who he would like to see reach the final, naming fellow faithfuls Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jerry Hall and Romesh Ranganathan as his dream trio to face Acaster.

“The ultimate finale would be Leigh-Anne, Jerry and Romesh staring down Acaster,” he said.

“Three on one and they take his sorry ass to the cleaners.”
