Translate

The Nigeria Energy Sector Fund, managed by SCM Capital Asset Management Limited, has released its audited financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2025, to the Nigerian Exchange, showcasing a robust financial performance driven by favourable positioning in oil and gas equities, higher fixed-income yields, and disciplined cost management.

During the 2025 financial year, the Fund achieved a total revenue growth of 30.89 per cent, rising to N444.58m from N339.66m recorded in the previous financial year. This top-line expansion was supported by a surge in trading income, which climbed to N274.28m compared to N213.45m in 2024, alongside robust contributions from interest income on call placements, treasury bills, and bonds, which totalled N144.57m.

Dividend income from underlying equity investments also grew significantly to N25.73m, up from N14.61m previously, reflecting strong payouts from portfolio companies.
