A 26-year old man drowned while swimming with friends at a waterfall in Sablan, Benguet.
In a report by GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, the incident occurred at the Towing Falls in Barangay Poblacion on Friday morning.
The companions of the victim, a resident of Asin Road in Baguio City, was told not to swim in the deep end of the falls. They later realized he had disappeared and reported it to authorities.
It took an hour before the remains of the victim were found by a search and rescue team.
Due to the incident, Towing Falls is temporarily closed to the public.
