Byron Allen, Meredith Vieira, Patrika Darbo Among This Year’s Daytime Emmys Gold and Silver Circle Inductees

Allen Media Group founder, chairman and CEO Byron Allen, host/executive producer Meredith Vieira and performer Patrika Darbo are among this year’s Gold and Silver Circle inductees set to be honored this month at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced on Thursday.
Allen, Vieira and Darbo will be inducted in the Gold Circle. Other 2026 Daytime inductees include actor/director/executive producer Francesca James in the Gold Circle, and Fox Television Stations exec VP of programming and development Stephen Brown and announcer/warm-up host Rubin Ervin in the Silver Circle.
“This year’s Gold & Silver honorees are recognized for their continued exceptional contributions to our television industry,” said NATAS president and CEO Adam Sharp, in a statement. “We are proud to honor a class of honorees from diverse career paths across many daytime genres. Their impact is evident in programming every day, inspiring generations and enriching the lives of countless viewers.”
Induction into the Gold and Silver Circle Society is meant for industry leaders “who have demonstrated enduring contributions to television,” the org said. “Inductees are exceptional professionals who have performed distinguished service within the television industry, setting standards for achievement, mentoring, leadership and professional accolades for 50 or 25 years, respectively.”
The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards take place on Friday, Oct. 30, at the Hollywood Palladium. The ceremony doesn’t have a broadcast partner, but it will stream live on the NATAS YouTube channel and at watch.TheEmmys.tv.
